Dr Rene Albertus is an senior lecturer at UCT’s Graduate School of Business teaching and researching information systems management and business process modelling, public-private partnerships, accounting and finance, as well as corporate governance. She teaches the course: Public-Private Partnerships.

Environmental Finance and Sustainable Investment

Dr Cecile Feront is a Senior Lecturer at UCT Graduate School of Business, a research fellow at the Stellenbosch University’s Centre for Sustainability Transitions, a collaborator at the Embedding Project, and an associate at the Sustainability Institute. She teaches sustainable investment and environmetnal finance, and researches how organisations embed sustainability in their strategy.
Mr Nqubeko Hlekwayo
Mr Nqubeko Hlekwayo

Programme coordinator

Ms Nqubeko Hlekwayo has extensive programme coordination experience. She has held various roles at the University of Cape Town, including at the FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology, the Doctoral Degree Board Office, and at the GSB, as International Exchange Coordinator for MBA and EMBA students. She supports students and ensured the smooth running of the PGDIp programme.

Prof Godfrey Marozva

Trade Finance

Prof Godfrey Marozva serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business and holds the position of Full Professor in the Department of Finance, Risk Management, and Banking within the School of Economic and Financial Sciences at the University of South Africa (UNISA), a role he has held since 2010. He teaches the course: Trade Finance.

Dr Nyankomo Marwa is an Associate Professor Digital Transformation, Development Finance and Applied Econometrics at Johannesburg Business School (JBS). Prior to JBS, Prof Marwa was the head of Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance at the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He teaches the course: Banking and Finance in Emerging Markets.

Risk Management and Sustainability of DFI

Prof Prince Sarpong is an Associate Professor of Finance at the School of Financial Planning Law, University of the Free State and the Founder and Director of the Centre for Financial Planning Studies. In January 2024, he joined AI2030, an Artificial Intelligence Think Tank based in Washington DC, as an Advisory Board member. He teaches the course: Risk Management and Sustainability of Development Finance Institutions.
