Join us for an information session webinar about the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) at the UCT Graduate School of Business. Speakers

Camille Meyer

Director : EMBA Programme

Dr Camille Meyer is Associate Professor in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. He is the Academic Director of the Executive MBA. His teaching and research on business sustainability adopt an interdisciplinary perspective to shed light on entrepreneurial, financial and ethical processes involved in the management of social innovations and natural resources. This perspective considers new approaches to business such as developing new business models, social innovations, collaborative management and stakeholder partnerships for commons governance. His work has been published in different academic journals, including Academy of Management Discoveries, Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, and Organization Studies. He was guest editor of a special issue on the ethics of the commons in the Journal of Business Ethics. His research won several awards, including the 2017 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award (category Management and Governance), and the 2017 FIR-PRI Finance and Sustainability Best Ph.D. Thesis Award. His previous work in higher education includes academic roles at the Free University of Brussels (ULB, Belgium) and the University of Victoria (Canada). Prior to moving into higher education, he worked for the international training centre of the International Labour Organization in Turin (Italy).
