Camaren Peter (PhD) is an Associate Professor at the Allan Gray Centre for Values-Based Leadership at UCT’s Graduate School of Business, and Founder of the Centre for Analytics and Behavioural Change. With a background in theoretical physics and astrophysics, Camaren now focuses on helping leaders tackle some of the biggest challenges of our time - from climate change and inequality to rapid urbanisation. His work explores how green technologies, social innovation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution can help stabilise Africa’s emerging middle class and drive inclusive, sustainable development. At the conference, he’ll share practical insights on how systems thinking and smart, decentralised solutions can unlock a more resilient and equitable future for African cities.
