Blended Online Term Dates

The programme is structured in two phases over approximately 18 months, combining the rigour of a postgraduate qualification with the flexibility that your career demands.

Each of the three teaching courses follows a two-phase structure:

Phase 1: Courses 1–3
Guided Learning: Contact Block 12 weeks

Monday and Thursday evenings (16:00–18:00)

Saturday morning sessions (4 hours)

  • Saturday sessions are limited - no more than 4 per course
  • Typically scheduled as 2 at the start and 2 towards the end of the Phase 1 block

No leave required

Live online contact sessions combining
asynchronous activities

Attendance of at least 85% of scheduled contact sessions is required.
Phase 2: Courses 1–3
Self-paced Learning: Application Period Approx 11 weeks Move into an application phase after the contact block

Complete an individual action learning project and reflective paper

Attend scheduled check-in sessions with lecturers for ongoing academic
support

Action Learning Project 2-hour online briefing session

Non-teaching course with no contact block

Work independently to consolidate your learning into a capstone action learning project
