Stéphanie Giamporcaro


Stéphanie is a Full Professor of Sustainable Finance at KEDGE Business School and an Adjunct Professor at the UCT GSB. With a background in the sociology of markets and finance and a Ph.D. from the University of Paris Cité, her research is rooted in organizational theories. Stéphanie's research work focuses on sustainable finance and financial innovation. 

She has published in leading academic journals such as Business Ethics Quarterly, Human Relations, Organization Studies, and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. Stéphanie is actively involved in disseminating her research through various media outlets such as The Conversation. She is a section editor for the Journal of Business Ethics and an editorial board member at Organization Studies and Human Relations. 

She has supervised more than 50Master's, MBA, and PhD theses on sustainable finance (ESG, SRI), impact investing, sustainable corporate governance, and the social construction of markets. She is the principal investigator for the Reynolds and Gifford PRI grant for the five-year research project: "Re-imagining responsible investment futures: Deliberative pathways towards global collective action."
