Martin Rodriguez Pardina


Martín Rodríguez Pardina holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Córdoba (Argentina) and a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom). He is currently the Managing Partner of Ad Hoc Consulting . Martín has over 30 years of experience leading international projects in the areas of private sector participation and infrastructure sector regulation. 

He has advised multilateral organizations, governments, regulators, and utility companies on sector restructuring processes, the design and renegotiation of concession contracts, the definition of tariff methodologies, tariff reviews, project valuations and analyses, arbitrations, and more.

Martín has extensive experience in Latin America, Asia, and Africa, where he has worked as an energy and regulatory expert on various projects, including sector reforms and tariff setting.

Martin has published several articles on utility regulation in international journals and is co-author of two books published by the World Bank and one published by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Since 2009, Martin has regularly taught a course on sector reform and regulation and another on financial models for tariff setting at the Power Futures Lab of the GSB, University of Cape Town, South Africa.
