The 2017 AIFIB shows that over $400 billion in financial assets have been directed to investing for impact in Southern Africa, East Africa and West Africa as responsible investment in Africa is on the rise. There has been a clear increase in investments on the continent targeting financial returns combined with positive social, environmental or good governance.
