 It is an invitation to reimagine how business can be both profitable and purposeful, resilient and regenerative, local and global.
As governments prepare to meet for the G20 join us in conversation with an elder in politics who knows intimately the intricacies of government and how it intersects with business in a fireside chat with a young powerhouse, Simthandile Siwisa- General Manager, Strategy and Public Policy, MTN Group, a GSB alum and World Economic Forum alumnus.

Jay Naiddo

Jay Naidoo is an Elder, grandfather and social activist. He has played many roles as student, community, political and union activist. He was the first General Secretary of the Congress of South African Trade Unions and served as Minister of Reconstruction and Development and then Communications in President Mandela’s Cabinet. He sits on the Board of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation which focuses on building good governance and ethical leadership in Africa. He is an Ambassador of Africans Rising Movement and a volunteer working towards an authentic intergenerational conversation in Africa and globally. He supports youth causes that co-create a new activism based on movement building that puts ecology and indigenous wisdom at the centre-breaks the bondage of a toxic patriarchy that has poisoned our relationships with each other, the millions of other species we share our planet with and our very Mother Earth.
