Mr Andre Mahoney
Manager Director and C suite Executive at RCL Foods
Andre Mahoney is Managing Director at JSE-listed RCL Foods, where he leads a diverse business unit spanning Culinary, PET Food, Beverages, and Siqalo Foods. With over 30 years in FMCG, Andre has held senior marketing and general management roles at Unilever, Tiger Brands, Kimberly-Clark, Parmalat/Lactalis, Pepkor, and Siqalo Foods.
He currently heads a team of Directors and Executives across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Food Solutions, HR, and Procurement—driving both operational and strategic performance across the full P&L.
Andre’s global perspective includes time in the USA, the world’s largest FMCG market, where he worked on global brand teams for Dove and Axe. Known as a lateral thinker and challenger of the status quo, he pushes his teams to operate “at the edge of chaos”—prepared for unpredictability and change.
His leadership motto is “Keep running or you’re standing still.” Andre’s latest mission is to shift his teams from empowerment to true authority—ensuring leaders make and own decisions beyond the boardroom, building a culture of accountability and resilience.
