Pavlo Phitidis is a well-known as the voice of small business in many homes that listen to Cape Talk and 702. His clear, concise advice for small business owners has helped many entrepreneurs to grow and focus their businesses over the years. He is the co-founder of Aurik and has been involved in the growth of hundreds of start-ups and small businesses.


Shiela Yabo, Manager Solution Space, UCT GSB, has a Bachelor of Social Science, and completed the Associate in Management Programme, and the Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice (Business Administration), both with distinction, from UCT GSB.  She has a passion for entrepreneurship development, youth development and business strategy and has a wealth of experience in higher education and mentorship. She is currently Manager for the Solution Space, Waterfront, an ecosystem for early-stage ventures at the Graduate School of Business, UCT. She is responsible for Strategic and Operational Management; Planning; Programme Design & Delivery of entrepreneurship programmes, including new venture support and acceleration. She is also an experienced entrepreneurship & innovation bootcamp facilitator.

  • Parking at the school is limited and although we try to make provision for our guests to park on campus, this is not always possible. The V&A Waterfront offers plenty of public parking, and is just a short walk away from the GSB. 
  • Please note that we currently are undergoing construction on campus and access to the staff / student parking is via the Portswood Garage parking. Follow GSB signs on the P1 Level to campus parking.
