This is an opportunity to connect talented and motivated women who want to pursue an MBA at the GSB, with female graduates of the programme. The breakfasts will take place in Cape Town and Johannesburg the 1st and 3rd of August respectively.
On the 18th of August, the 18th annual Women in Business Conference Entitled Changing Paradigms, Breaking Barriers will take place at the V&A Waterfront. The conference is a student-led initiative that aims to raise funds towards a scholarship to fund a deserving woman to study at the GSB and features a strong panel of women leaders including Nandipha Solomon, Head of Marketing for Citadel Investment Services, and the M&G’s Zamantungwa Khumalo, who will share their stories.
In Durban on the 18th of August at the Durban Chamber of Commerce, there will be an alumni event where Nandi Mandela, Kaya Tshabalala and Nerisha Maharaj will be speaking, while in Johannesburg on 30 August, the GSB alumni will be hosting Professor Pumpla Gqola and Shafika Isaacs as keynote speakers.
