The Africa Business Club seeks to bring together UCT GSB students, alumni and organizations from around the world that share an interest in Africa.
The UCT GSB established a Management Consulting Club in 2012 that serves to assist MBA students in pursuing a career in Management Consulting. The aim of the club is to give you exposure and understanding into what management consulting is, get you introduced to a companies and prepare you adequately for case interviews.
The Business Tomorrow Conference is organised annually by the Consulting Club. In 2016, the conference set to gauge the relative risks and rewards of investing in emerging markets. They put the question to industry and thought leaders to spark debate and ignite positive action.
The UCT GSB Entrepreneurship Club provides support, encouragement and guidance to all students and alumni interested in the field of entrepreneurship plus those who intend to own, currently own or have their own business.
GSB Finance Club provides support, encouragement and guidance to all students and alumni interested in the field of Finance plus those who have worked, currently work or would like to work in this field. The Finance Club is a fantastic resource for current students and alumni at any stage of their career. It offers a platform whereby the community is able to can network, ask questions and stay up to date with what's going on in the field of finance.
The mission of the GSB Net Impact Club is to equip, educate, and inspire business students to use their business skills for lasting social, economic and environmental good
Started in 2012, the Retail Club endeavours to connect GSB students and alumni with leading industry figures through guest speaker events, social events, and MBA "treks" to businesses.
A vibrant student driven club, offering a bridge between the African Technology space, Business and the Graduate School of Business.
Formed in 1999, the Women in Business Society is a student initiative run by students at the UCT Graduate School of Business. This forum is a network which seeks to encourage and support the active participation of women in the business sector.
The Women in Business Society hosts an annual Women in Business Conference with the objective of raising funds for a future female GSB student.
