PGDip Learning Process
Kick-start your career
The Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice is an accredited postgraduate qualification offering immediate benefits.
The programme takes a systems thinking and action learning approach that allows you to demonstrate what you are learning as you are learning it, adding instant value to your organisation and industry.
It consists of one nine-day and three eight-day, full time courses. Each course addresses a specific learning goal and relates to one of the main research competencies of the UCT Graduate School of Business. The last day of each course involves an integrated case in which you can demonstrate your learning.
Students are able to select one of five options of specialisation streams in the fourth course. Options include: Innovative Leadership, Wine Business Management, Business Administration, Leadership in Health Care and Retail Management. All streams share three core courses, with the option of selecting one programme specialisation for the fourth course.
On completion of the whole programme you showcase your new skills in a final Action Research project that is performed off campus back in your workplace.
To apply for this programme you must hold a tertiary qualification or a Recognition of Prior Learning certificate; this programme will be offered on the South African National Qualifications Framework at level 8.
