Video conferencing for alumni 

The video conferencing facility is available for use by alumni at a discounted rate
Venue hire – R350.00 per hour (includes equipment) plus the cost of the telephone call
Scheduling fee (once off) – R250.00

The scheduling fee includes the following services:

  • Test call to all VC parties one day prior to VC taking place.
  • Equipment setup and commissioning on the day of the VC
  • Video conference connection established half an hour before VC is scheduled to commence. (To be arranged and agreed on during the test call the previous day.)

GSB provides job search facility  

Two PCs have been set up in the Careers Office to offer alumni the facility to search for job opportunities by accessing the various online job search software. Please note the following:

Office hours are between 08:30 and 16:30 Monday to Friday

  • Please contact the Careers Office on 021 4061340 or 021 4061039 to set up a time to use the computers.
  • Use of a PC should not extend beyond an hour.
  • There are no printing facilities, so please bring your flash stick.
  • The PCs are to be used solely for job searches.
