Social Impact Bonds Could Boost Development and Jobs

Skillsportal: SA social innovation steps on to global stage

A South African team competed for the Hult Prize, the world's largest student competition that is geared towards solving the world's social challenges. The Reel Gardening - University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (GSB) team beat 50 teams in the regional round of the competition earlier this year and met five other finalists from around the world in New York tomorrow for the US$1m (almost R10-million) prize sponsored by the Clinton Global Initiative.
