Which programme for me?

The UCT Graduate School of Business offers three academic programmes in general management and customised academic programmes in management practice as well as a host of short courses that cater for all levels of management. All of its programmes and courses come with a solid reputation and are highly respected in the marketplace

MBA	Executive MBA
The MBA is characterised by intensity of process and a full and demanding curriculum. It is designed to develop students both personally and professionally. The programme gives delegates the tools they need to create their own opportunities and succeed in the fast-paced world of today, whether in a small, new business or an established corporation.	The only programme of its kind in South Africa, the Executive MBA is targeted at senior and executive managers and leaders who want to move their careers and lives onto another level. The course uses sophisticated learning techniques that are far removed from classic pedagogic methods. Participants are taught to develop their critical thinking and decision-making abilities and their capacity to function in complex organisational and social environments.

Associate in Management (AIM)	Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA)
AIM prepares high-potential emerging managers and leaders to move into and through middle management. The programme blends the formidable reputation of the UCT Graduate School of Business for quality and academic excellence with applied, work-based learning which benefits both students and their employers. It is an intense learning experience with a dual focus of stimulating personal growth and expanding knowledge and skills.	The PDBA understands and builds on the value of the individual's work and life experience and develops managers and leaders who have the ability and understanding to manage competently and creatively within the context of an increasingly complex business environment.

Corporate Learning
Corporate Learning's focus is the acceleration of management and organisational development through the design and delivery of innovative in-company customised programmes. Corporate Learning has developed a systemic approach that synthesises systems thinking and action learning. Dubbed SysTAL, the process moves from a position of being dependent on experts and striving to construct relevant knowledge to learning with and from fellow learners within their work context. Corporate Learning offers the following two programmes that are customised to meet the developmental needs of the client organisations: Associate in Management in Management Practice Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice (Management Practice) These programmes are offered in a variety of different structures, dependent on client requirements, e.g. series of 3-day workshops in regional centres vs 3 x 8-day modules at UCT Graduate School of Business in Cape Town.
